I have tried searching for help on scent throw with this wax and I notice everyone says they are getting awesome throw. I am not getting good throw. I love this wax and just don't know what I am doing wrong. I pour at around 170 to 175 and the second pour when votives are cool to touch, maybe slightly warm at ten degrees hotter. I use 44z wicks and I make them at 6%. (some less than six depends on the scent.) I stir the oil in good.. I am not sure how long to stir.. I have read 30 seconds and two minutes. I usually stir two minutes cause that is what I was told. They said it binds the scent to the wax better. The wax specks say to only go to 6%. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will just keep trying in the mean time. I am pretty sure it is not the wax.. I am not getting real good throw with my containers either.. so it must be me. haha Do you all weigh the oil or do you just go by measure? That could be it. I usually go by measure.. so maybe I am not adding enough. I don't know! ugh! anyway.. suggestions welcome. thank you DaisyFairy

ok.. I will do that. I think more scent is the only thing I can think of anyway. The only other thing I was worried about was burning the scent off by stirring it too long before pouring. thanks for your help Daisyfairy

You'd have to have your temps way hotter than you do to burn off all the scent Make sure you're using quality oil as well.

ok.. thanks very much. I live in texas and the closest place to me is taylored concepts. I get most of my oils there but I recently ordered some peaks scents too. I am not really sure of the quality since these are the only two places I have ordered from. I have heard only good about peaks. but not sure about taylored concepts. I will have to check around with people and see what the reveiws are. hehe. thanks again for your help Daisyfairy

what temp do you add your FO at? I add mine at 180, and was told that was recommended for scent to bind with wax. If you are adding it at lower temps that could be problem. Make sure you thermoter is working good

Also, how long to stir? Is it 30 seconds or two minutes? Say with this particular wax.
