I just started learning how to make candles, just for hobby.  I made a few this weekend and noticed that the scents were not as bold as I would like,  maby i bought the wronge brand of scents.  I would be greatful for some tips, i am getting discouraged.

I just went to Hobby Lobby and bought all I needed to just get started.  That is where I bought the scents too.  I dont know of anywhere else that i could go. oh, i followed the directions on the bottle, ended up using it all, it was a small bottle.

I would like to get this problem solved so I can learn some of the techniques.  The pics in the gallery are so neat.

You would get better results from a good supplier rather than using the stuff at the craft stores. Check out Peak's (link is over to your right) and order their sampler pack of FO's (fragrance oils) or better yet start out with one of their starter kits for votives or pillars (great way to get your feet wet). Then prepare for your new addiction. HTH  Grin
