To whomever was interested in true crime books, here are a few for ya! Wink

A Perfect Husband by Aphrodite Jones
A dream marriage ends in death when a successful novelist plots his wife's real-life murder....

Reasonable Doubt by Steve Vogel
A shocking story of lust and murder in the American Heartland.

Cold Storage by Don LasseterGONE
The true story of California's gruesome "Icebox Killer". Denise Huber was missing for three years.  The nightmare began the day she was found.

Dangerous Attraction by Robert Scott
A walk on the wild side would end in rape and murder for an all-american girl.

Missing Beauty by Teresa Carpenter
A brilliant Tufts University research professor roamed Boston's porno district looking for sex.  When the devoted husband and father of three met Robin Benedict, a beautiful commercial artist and high-paid prositute, his life changed forever.  Robin disappeared and the last person to see her alive was the professor.

Heart Full of Lies by Ann RuleGONE
Ann Rules' gripping best seller illuminates the lethal deceit inside a dream marriage, and asks: Can a woman be deadlier than a man?

These are all fiction:

The true and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elisabeth Robinson (fiction but based on true facts)

Telling the story of two sisters-Olivia, a hotshot Hollywood producer whose life is unraveling, and Maddie, an unflagginly optimistic, seriously ill midwesterner whose idealism has always driven Olivia crazy. Sad and funny.

There ya go, anyone interested? Cheesy

Edited to add a couple more books I found:

I have the first two in this Nora Roberts Trilogy:

Key Of Light TAKEN
Fate brings three women together for a chance to unlock their deepest desires.  Mallory has the soul of an artist and an eye for beauty.  She must find the Key of Light-on the first of three dangerous quests that could fulfill her destiny...or forever destroy her life.

Key of KnowledgeTAKEN
Fate brings three women together for a chance to unlock their deepest desires.  Dana has always found her greatest passion in books. She must search for the Key of Knowledge-on the second of three dangerous quests that leads her to find the truth hidden among deception and lies...or succumb to her worst nightmare.

These books are really really good, I haven't read the third one yet, still looking for it, so if anyone has that one, please let me know. Wink

Hey Moochelle, sounds like you're a Kay Scarpetta fan.  Ever read Blow Fly or her newest one (can't remember the name)  I've got Blow Fly if interested (hard cover)  Dusty, but other than that in good shape.

Any Nora Roberts fans out there?  I've got a bunch of hers, mainly paperback.  I'll do trades if anyone's interested.

OK here are more I've found:

The Search (Iris Johansen) Top-secret venture is sabotaged and a woman and her dog, part of an elite K-9 search and rescue team, are on the case. I really enjoyed the read Wink

Special Circumstances (Sheldon Siegel) It's his first novel. Good legal thriller centered around lawyers.

Songs in Ordinary Times (Mary McGarry Morris) About a woman with children in a small town who becomes prey to a dangerous con man.

More Than You Know (Beth Gutcheon) A love story (not of the cheesy kind Wink ).

Firefly Beach (Luanne Rice) Another of those finding love stories. It's a good read though!

Just combining w/ an earlier listing:

The Sky Is Falling (Sidney Sheldon) A mystery about the murder of a man considered to be a rising star in the senate. NY Post said it was a "fast-paced mystery tour, suspenseful with signature twists, turns and ironic surprises."

On Mystic Lake (Kristin Hannah) -- Story about a woman and choices.

Moochelle, do NOT read Trace until Blow Fly.  I repeat, do NOT read it until Blow Fly.  Big things happen in Blow Fly.  I won't spoil it, but read Blow Fly.

I have bags and bags of paperback books. Most all are mystery/thriller types and older. Don't know if there would be much interest, but I'll get a list together.

OMGosh I'm so glad I found this thread - we have 5 floor to ceiling bookshelves filled with books that desperately need to be weeded through. The only one I know of offhand that hubby will let me give away is:
Stephen King - Desperation, Hardback excellent condition.

Anyone have any toddler books in good shape they're looking to get rid of?

I've got a few more to add as well. Cheesy

Post Mortem by Patricia Cornwell (thanks Moochelle Wink )

A brilliant human monster-a "Mr. Nobody"- moves undetected through a paralyzed city, leaving behind a gruesome trail of carnage... but few clues.  With an unerring eye and the latest advances in foresnic research, medical examiner Kay Scarpetta sets out to unmask a maniac.  But someone is trying to sabotage Kay's investigation from the inside.  AND, someone wants her dead.

GOOD READ! Cheesy

Reversible Errors by Scott Turow

Death Row inmate Rommy Gandolph insists he's innocent-and new evidence has convinced his court-appointed attorney. One a skeptic, Kindle County corporate lawyer Arthur Raven is now a fervent crusader.  But in the world of criminal law he's a rookie squaring off against a D.A. determined to prove she's right, a female detective on the case eager to seal Rommy's doom.  The battles are hard-fought and more vicious than anything Raven has ever imagined.  Because when the state has the power to kill, everything is life or death.

GOOD! Cheesy

The Goodbye Summer by Patricia Gaffney

How much change can one summer bring??  For thirty-two year old Caddie Winger, one summer can make the whole world look different.  Jolted out of her comfy, self=made nest and forced to look at the worlf with new eyes, Caddie begins to take charge of her future-making a new best friend, taking risks she never dreamed she could, and navigating the depths and shallows of true love and crushing heartbreak.  And in the course of one extraordinary season, Caddie will learn how to trust other people... and, ultimately, how to trust herself.

I really liked this one!! Grin

Sam's Letter to Jennifer by James Patterson (thanks Ragina Wink )

A woman is summoned back to the town where she grew up.  And in the house where she spent her most magical years she fins a series of letters addressed to her.  Each of those letters is a piece of a story that will completely upend the world she thought she knew-and throw her into a love more powerful than she ever imagined could be possible.  Two extraordinary love stories are entwined here, full of hope and pain and emotions that never die down.

AWESOME book!!Grin

Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich (thanks again Ragina Wink )

"Wild" Bill Barnaby's dropped off the face of the earth, and big sister Alex heads for Miami, Bill's last known sighting, on a harrowing hunt to save her brother... and maybe the world.  Truth is, Alex has been bailing her brother out of trouble since they were kids.  Not that Bill's a bad sort.  More that he acts first and thinks later.  Unfortunately, this time around, Wild Bill will be Dead Bill if Alex doesn't find him in time.

A really good, fast funny read!! Grin

Ok, off to see which books I can read next from all of your lists. Wink
