Hey folks,

There has been much activity for some of the buddies in the program. As of early June we felt that we had everything set up and people coordinated.

If you signed up for the program and now need to drop from it, please do your best to refrain from doing so till the next buddy shuffle in August. We are running this program on a quarterly sign up basis and can take on new people then and allow for people to drop.

I realize commitments change, but we're no longer able to shuffle around people on a weekly basis. This is not how the program was designed and it has continued to confuse and frustrate individuals who have signed up for this program.

If you are in the buddy program, please make sure that your buddy is hearing from you. We have several people who are saying they are not hearing from their buddy or have heard from them once. I know summer is a very busy time for more than just the parties who are affected. All it would take is to send an email or a card or even a PM

Come the August sign up, we will only be involving those people who sign up at that time. If you don't re-join, you will not be included in the next quarter. If you have been an absent buddy and have been reported to us, we will be dropping you from the program for at least the next two quarters.

The above may sound harsh to some, but is not meant to. Organizing this takes a lot of work. We're doing the best we can to accommodate everyone involved. We asked for people not to join if they could not make the commitment. For those who did sign on, please continue to keep your commitments till we start the next sign up. We will start the signup phase for the second quarter beginning the second week in August. There is about 6 weeks left in the first quarter.
