I hope this posts ok.  I have tried everything I can think of for this darn label and I am still not liking it.  Please give me some opinions/advice any and all are more than WELCOME.  This is being printed on 2" and 2.5" glossy round labels.  TIA  Portia

Long shot here....Do you have a photo program that you can paste the label to so that you can save a photo file?  Dunno?

I applaud your effort of creating your own label.  It is hard work. OK....I don't know if I like your phone number.  It just looks like a row of numbers.  Let me study it some more and I'll get back to you.

I agree with the phone number....and maybe center the name of the scent.

Otherwise, you did a good job!

I think your company name "Devine Scents" should be placed together more - the wings are making it too spaced out.  I don't think your zip code is necessary on the label, maybe put it on the bottom for your caution label?  I also think your phone number should have (123) 456-7890 or 123.456.7890 or something like that.  And I'm not sure I like the scent name on the left hand side...doesn't really look right to me.  Okay, one more thing - I kinda think you should maybe make the text (written in navy & purple) to maybe black & purple?

These are my suggestions.  Wink
1. Center the graphic. Put company name above it.
2. Put "Devine Scents" in one line~ with a BOLD font.
3. Contact info~ on the bottom, and smaller fonts with spaces. Phone number in 000.000.0000 format.
Then on the bottom:
Your city/state   [space in between]    Phone number
All in one line.
4. Add a border, all around the edges, even a simple line in a contrasting color.
5. "Apple Cinnamon" made MUCH smaller.
6. Center all text.

Crwating a label can be very hard, especially if you're "design challenged" like me...lol.

I must say, the others have done better than me... I had no clue those strings of numbers were a zip and phone. May I ask the purpose of putting the zip on it? As for the rest.. I agree with the others on most. However, (and this is a personal opinion, mind you) I don't care for the angel graphic. It looks too cartoonish (is that a word?..LOL). More like something you would find at a dollar store   Undecided

Just asking, but is your angel wearing glasses? If not, what's the dark line under her eyes?

Good to see you are working with making your own labels Smiley Hang in there. We all have a lot of diff. tastes.

My other suggestions:

1) Find a more divine font, something that has lift and air to it. This one doesn't do it for me.
2) Depending on what you say about your angel, I might suggest trying to find another  Undecided
3) Play around with sizing. There's a lot here that's sending my eyes in several directions too quickly.
4) Get the scent up higher ... I wanna know what I'm looking at or getting ready to look at. Don't make me have to ID it by nose or wade to find it. If I'm remembering it right, it goes name of bus., contact info and then the scent is near the bottom. You could shrink that contact info and flop it with the scent.

Thank you all so much for the advice.  Now it's back to the drawing board. Cry  I too think the angel looks too cartooney/girly, I'm getting someone to come up with another logo so I just used this one so that I would have something to work around in placing the wording for now.  Boy and I thought candles was the hard part.  Thanks,,,Portia

I think a subtle graphic of a pair of angel wings would be awesome for the name of your biz. Maybe even the outline of a pair of wings? Just a thought.  Smiley

I like it, but I would make divine scents all on one like on the top, move up the phone number, and center fragrance scent.
