I did a search for this, but did get what I was looking for. I currently make 6oz tins and use a kraft paper label on top and a warning label on bottom. I do not think this is enough it looks to plain. Where can I get a label that will go around the side. I am going to switch to round white on top and a white one on the side. I cannot seem to find where to get them for the side though. I would appreciate any pics or suggestions. I have posted on of my own TIA....AMY

Do you want the label to wrap entirely around the side? If not, a 1x4 will work well.

I think that even if you just change the label to being on the side of the tin it'll look plain. I'd suggest adding some colour to it, or a logo.

Well, I do mine the cheap and easy way I use regular plain ol' paper...and then I put some scrapbooking glue dots on each end of the paper to stick it on. Then so it really wont' come off, I take a tiny bit of tape and tape the ends down so they don't get folded...and also for added protection. I use 8 1/2 x 11 paper and I think I get 10 per sheet or so. You only need to cut strips -- the labels come out to be 8 1/2 x 1 I think (don't quote me though!). I'm attaching a picture. They work really well! I guess if you wanted labels, you could get a full sheet of labels and just cut them w/ a paper trimmer.

The full sheet labels are a good idea, you can get them in all sorts of colors. But I would suggest making your top label much larger. That will allow much more room ofr graphics/color/whatever you choose, and you might just decide you like them that way.

I use a colored label on my other labels. I also have a logo on the label for my apothecary jar. The jelly jars and mason jars are just a round label on top. It really doesn't matter if it goes all the way around. I just need something better than what I have now. I want to approach a few shops and if they will be on a shelf the label needs to be on the side. Is there anyway to get the kraft paper label off of the top if I can get the ones on the side working? Since I have already placed this label on them. SUEG...Where did you get the pics that are on your labels? I was thinking of something like that on each label or my logo. Not sure which yet. I also have print shop home and office labels. I love that there are templates for me. I am not sure how to do it with plain paper and get it to fit. Sorry for so many questions..... I attached some pics for you to see.
