Thanks Guys! Believe it or not I never even thought of a pen Carmen! Glad you mentioned that!! Gonna have to print out this list and get my trusty pen to check off everything when I head out. And believe me Lynda ....I'll be much like you, still obsessing over what I may have forgotten, should have brought, didn't need ...LOL Waxing Poetic Quote:| .I have had to just about beat my children over putting stuff on the tables. They get it now. |
| LOL, I have these same kind of kids ...maybe someone should have beat me! LOL

As I sit here reading this and freaking about my first show in 2 weeks, writing down all the stuff that ISN'T on my list and printing what passes for a brochure, it occurs to me...how many do I need to print? I think my printer is getting tired!

breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out..... Don't forget the calculator, I did and I suck at making change. And everything I've got was even dollars LOL ! I only took 40 brochures, more people grabbed business cards than brochures for some reason. But that's not very many.

As far as tables go, if you're not renting them, I'm finding the 4 foot tables are more flexible than the 5 foot or longer ones. You can do a 10x10 space as well as smaller 8x8 spaces w/o too much rearranging.

It already is that's what the little red flag means. 6 foot tables work too, don't worry about it girl Cuz you can do this |_ and it will fit in a 8 foot space.

OKAY, Has anyone posted gloves and a jacket, possibly snow cap for outdoor shows during the late fall? I froze my butt off last weekend. LOL! It was not fun. I kept drinking coffee to stay warm, but then had to run to the porta potty every 5 minutes.

I just started taking postcards printed with the dates of my upcoming shows. These things have been great - I figure if they try tarts they will come back for the candles. I have been taking about 20 schedules to each show. And I picked up a small notebook at the dollar store for a guestbook. It really surprised me how many people sign up for the "newsletter" email list.
