Massage Oil Info and Recipe

First just a word about Massage Oil ingredients and Practices...In case you were curious:

Carrier oils are vegetable oils used to dilute the concentrated essential oils, they help to slow down the
evaporation of the essential oils and help absorb them into the skin. The carrier oils should be "Extra virgin or cold
pressed vegetable oils" for maximum benefit. Some good carrier oils include mineral oil, grapeseed, canola,
safflower, sunflower, sesame, wheat germ, olive and peanut oil.

Essential oils should be stored in a brown or dark blue colored glass bottle with a close fitting plastic screw cap. Storing them in plastic containers could cause them to become contaminated. Shelf life can be prolonged by keeping them in a cool dark place.  They should always be kept out of the reach of children.

*NOTE: Do not go out in the sun for at least 6 hours after using any of these oils in your recipes: Ginger, lemon,
orange and Bergamot, they can cause skin irritations if exposed to sun.

Basic Message Oil
Ingredients:
6 teaspoons carrier oil of your choice
8 drops of essential oil of your choice
Directions:
Blend ingredients well, warm up oil before doing any massage including your fingertips.

This is the basic recipe so that we can get creative...I have like 20 or more specific massage oil recipes if anyone is interested in them, PM me and I'll pass them along.  I think massage oil is awesome stuff, and I am thrilled to have found these super easy recipes.
