I was reading that rose geranium oil is good to repel ticks but its sooo expensive- thought i'd check here to see if anyone has a good combo that they've tried and are happy with... thanks so much!Meredyth

Would FO work as well or do you need the EO?

I am not sure if the FO works or not- we got this awesome bug spray that has citronella, geranium oil, rosemary oil & peppermint oil and I have been searching for a reasonable place to buy geranium oil- to see if I can mix this up- but anyway  we have ticks so bad around here and when I put this stuff on - they actually fall off or die within 10minutes...its awesome stuff...Shocked) but I thought that if someone has tried something else thatworks specifically for ticks that would be great. I wonder if I could subsitute the geranium for something else- I have tea tree and patchouli here will mix that up and see what it does.
