No worries. I have kids too so I know how it is. It never fails that whatever it is that I need THEY have it. Especially the cordless phone, I can never find it and if I do it's probably going to be dead.
I really appreciate you hosting this swap. I just got started making soap and really look forward to some feedback.  Smiley

I have to agree about the Cranberry yuzu, my daughter love that one too. The sugar scrub smell like something I want to eat.  Really like the pineapple one too!

Anyway where are we going to post the results from testing?  So far I have used the sugar scrub, shaving bar, (love the scent on this one too) and a castile bar.

Please, please be brutally honest about mine.  I put it all together the night before I had to ship it.  I was getting ready to leave on vacation the next day.  I had to add extra coco butter to try to compensate for the heat.  I packaged it up and sealed it up while it was still warm.  I think there was a touch too much EO in it, but really want to know what everyone really thinks about the Bergamot shea butter.  I didn't have enough left to keep and try it out so I'm clueless to what the extra coco butter did to it.

Carrie,  Your shea butter smelled wonderful.  Mine looks more like a lotion than the whipped shea.  What is it supposed to look like?  But other than that I actually think it turned out wonderful.

Thanks Lorrie, I had to package it before it was whipped all the way and still warm so I guess I don't know what it's supposed to look like.  Is it soft or kinda hard.  I added extra coco butter to harden it up a bit.

Anyway, I got my box today.  I went through the list and have a few missing.  I don't have the pink sugar or the one with the red and blue swirl, and I don't have the cranberry yuzu (I don't think).  I do have one that is natural color with some dark blue swirl that I can't identify from the list.  It smells like lemongrass maybe. It isn't the light blue soaps, I have both of those.  The soap with the dark blue looks like the one just above Krystal Kreations soap in Leslie's picture.

Ok the shea butter is soft almost like a lotion and the items you are missing well I will mail them on Monday.  I am so sorry that you didn't get everything.  It must have been your box that she dipped into.

Thanks Lorrie, I don't need all the other stuff asap, it will take me a while to check out the others.  Don't go out of your way.

I have the recipe written down for that batch.  First time for everything huh?  I will make some more tomorrow for myself.  I'm glad it is decent.  I have been so worried about it.  I just ran out of time before the huge road trip.

Thanks again.

Carrie,

I used yours last night.  I received my box yesterday and from the heat (HOT) it was runny.  Today it is thicker.  It will be much easier to put on tonight. I used it on my legs and feet. I hate shoes so my feet need help.  I am going to use this nightly and will let you know how it does.  Here is what it looked like yesterday.  As I said today it is thicker.  Oh I love the scent too!!

Wow, thanks for the pic.  It was full and I had to tap it down to put the lid on.  Glad you like the scent.  I just love bergomot.  Ever since I found out what the scent was in Earl Grey Tea I've searched for anything bergamot.  Needless to say, I never found it, I had to make it.
