I used Ocean in my salt bar. It did accelerate a bit, but I use a water discount. I used 1/2 ounce per pound of soap and it has a wonderful fragrance. I LOVE it in soap. I put my colorant in the lye water, so I couldn't really tell you if it discolored. However, the color came out so true that I don't think it did.

Just CPd Sunflower at .5 oz ppo. A slight bit of acceleration, no discolor so far. Pretty well behaved. Will update after gel. After gel - it might have darkened to a tan a very little bit, but I threw in a bunch of other stuff, so I can't tell if it's that, or the FO. A nice earthy scent. Not sweet.

Used Peak Orange at .5 ppo mainly to cover up the olive oil smell. Didn't accelerate or sieze. No color change, but don't really like the scent. Has a rubber/plastic type smell. Might smell okay mixed with something else.

In CP I used Moonlight Path at 3/4 oz ppo. Easy to soap as there was no acceleration. No discoloration yet but will update tomorrow after unolding. The scent has a bit of musk and light summer flowers. Nice light summer floral scent.

Patchouli - behaved nicely in CP. I didn't discount water and had no problems at all; no morphing, discoloration, ricing or seizing. It made a nice, white bar (swirled with some pink) and smells great at 1 oz. pp.

I didn't have any luck soaping French Vanilla. The FO behaved nicely (1 oz. pp), but after a week, I can't smell it at all. Has anyone CP'd French Vanilla successfully? Update 06/16/05: Thought I'd add that after about two weeks, the scent started to come through lightly and it's very nice. I think next time that I will add 1.5 oz. pp, though. Also, like with any vanilla, the soap turns dark brown.

Soaped Vanilla Passion finally Accelerated some and started to act like it wass going to rice , but beat the heck out of it and got it into the mold without a lot of problem. Even with using some (not enough) TD it discolored a Med brown Today I soaped Sweet Pea, it soaped like a dream. No acceleration. Cant tell you discoloration cuz I colored it all. I will update if the scent does anything wierd. But for now a really great batch.

Lemon Pound Cake & Macintosh Apple soap like a dream in cp soap! Made batches of these several weeks (8+) ago and their scents are still very strong & true! I see that Sweet Pea & Fruit Slices & Spiced Cranberry all soap well (cp soap) - those are next on my list to make. Can someone whose made these tell me how the scent held up after a good long cure? Thanks! Lisa

Spiced Cranberry holds up extremely well - I've got a miscut bar that's from the first batch of that scent I did, still strong and true.

Pink Sugar: Heavy discoloration in both CP and M&P to a dark brown. Other than that, it's just dandy. I wouldn't call it suitable unless you're creative enough to find a name that matches both the scent and resulting color at the same time.

| Lisa, I made a batch of Sweet Pea about 10 weeks ago and it's still good and strong. I have it in a vented container and can smell it in the other room. Smells good!

Soaped Tuscan Nights in CP at .5 oz ppo. Added at pretty thin trace - it accelerates and rices a bit, but can be stick blended smooth (probably the floral elements). Doesn't separate or anything like that. Don't discount water too much. Nice green scent, pretty much smells as it did OOB. No color change.
