Way to pretty to burn anyway. Can't believe how clear it is.

I really like gel candles. Yours looks really nice. How much wax did you use in the brandy sniffer? on Jul 7th, 2005, 7:33pm, luckylady wrote:| LOL, it wasnt that bubble free initially, but a few summer craft shows and the heat eliminates the bubbles.. Thats how the big one was created in the middle... |
| From here I thought the bubble in the middle was a silver fish you had embedded. I've never worked with gel, and if I ever do it will be a long way down the road, but I am curious ... could you use a heat gun to work out the air bubbles or are all gel waxes prone to bubbles? For some reason I thought different waxes had more or less tendencies to form bubbles.

Thanks again guys for all of your kind words!! First of all I think all gel creates bubbles, thats just part of working with it! There are so many people trying to develop things to eliminate them, but so far I have embraced them and used them as part of my creations! I only use Medium Density Versagel. I wouldnt recommend the heat gun thing, because if you get gel tooo hot it will cloud up on you. I something similar once with my beach candles, thought I could pop them in the oven on warm and they would go away.. NOPE however I had the cloudiess looking mess! Hope this helps! Tracy
