Ok never made gel before but I"ve made container candles do you with them the same way? Heat gun to stick wick to container?? I know you need to crimp the wick so it won't burn all the way but was wondering how you get it to stick thanks

when i wick gel candles, i seat the wick using extremely hot gel and then do my pour(s)at a cooler temperature so the gel hoding the wick is not affected. when the candle is burned completely, it is very easy to remove the old wick to remake the candle. cheryl
