"MANHATTAN" CANDLE

My sister has asked me to make her a manhattan.  The martini is easy - NO COLOR.  I have the cherry to add, but I'm stumped with the coloring for the candle itself.  Do you think a combination of brown and red, more brown than red, or the other way around?  Any help will be most appreciated.  TIA

Hi Lisa,

That's the color!  So, you think I should go for black/red vs brown/red.  Ok, I'll give it a try.  Thank you so much for taking the time to look it up.  I really appreciate it.

Not sure, I'd do a little dabbing & see which one looked closer.  I see a slight hint of brown... but I still think maybe a dark deep blood red, but who knows

IMO if there was that much or that dark of red in it you would not see the cherry through it. The first pic looks like brown with maybe a touch of red.

Here is another pic this color looks like more yellow with a touch of brown

Ahh, Candleman, tomorrow I give it a try.  My sister is expecting the candle when she visits Easter Sunday so I have a few days more to experiment.  Thank you all for your help.

Malaki, thank you.  I found out about the different colors when my sister asked for one for her friend who uses Jack Daniels in hers rather than straight whiskey.  The JD is darker, thus you need more brown than red.  Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
