Well, I finally tried the LX 18 and LX 20 for my soy votives.(Ecosoya PB) The LX 18 was recommended for soy votives by my local supplier. Thought I'd give it a try. The 20 was too big, but the LX18 is actually doing quite well. The hot throw seems to be better than the 44-24-18C for some reason. They mushroom a little, but nothing major. Anyone try LX18 for soy votives successfully and how did you find the hot throw and burning performance in comparison to other wicks? TIA!

I've never used that large of a size when I was making soy votives. I used the LX14. This was with KY Soy/Pillar. Perhaps the Ecosoya needs a larger wick? The 18s would have been way too big for that. JMO.
