Hey Robin, those are some nice candles. You must be a professional with that whip... heh heh heh Only kidding. May I ask, what brand and blend of wax did you use and maybe a recipe for a newbie. I know I would appreicate it.

Mornin' Eileen, I used plain old candle wax from AC Moore (its all I can get locally and it's affordable with a coupon...$8 per 10 lbs) and about 1/2 to 3/4 oz. FO. I let the wax set up quite a bit, stir (actually, I fold) the wax a bit, then spoon into a heated mold. No fill nessesary. They're ready in about 3 hours. The colors are basic too...burgandy and navy blue. Robin

Hi Robin, Those whipped candles turned out great. You really did a good job. Let me know how the fragrance throws with 1/2 to 3/4 oz. And what scents did you use? Again Very-Very Good! It's 4:20 AM, Julie and I are getting ready to go with a couple of friends to the little town of Sonora and around the area for yard sales, so maybe we'll get lucky and find a weird container for candles. Talk to you soon Bob M.....

Hi Bob, Glad to see you're back! I used wild cherry in the burgundy and midsummer night in the navy. Both have a wonderful cold throw, and the hot throw is fabulous! Have fun yard saleing! We here in the Great White North have to wait a while before yard saleing can become a reality. Looks like mid-July the way winter is going so far! It's STILL snowing up here!!! Robin
