Chunks & little Boogers

I'm trying a project where I'll have leftover unscented gel squares.  I was going to store them in a Glad container with wax paper between the layers.  I've noticed the colored gel pieces are easily disfigured.  Is there a better way to protect them?

I am finding little tiny balls of gel everyplace.  They stick to my fingers and I just can't shake them off back into the pot.  Reminds me of an old joke where the kid finally eats the booger because he can't get it off his finger.  My laugh for the day.

There not any better way that is why I just remelt the pieces later and rechunk them. I also have been known to leave them just like they are and do a rainbow candle with them that why it does matter if the chunks are uniform.

I would store then as gel "sheets" and use scissors to cut the gel up into the chunks when your ready o use them.  HTH

Thanks, I've discovered the scissor trick.  Sure a lot easier to make gel chunks than wax ones.
