Ecosoya CB Advanced and Ecosoya CB135 are 2 different wax blends from the same manufacturer. They behave differently from one another. I suspect the supplier where you saw the two types combined is either mis-informed or being deliberatly ambiguous. I suggest purchasing small amounts and trying them both, to see which you prefer. PM me and I'll dish some info. HTH Casey

Advanced has a lower melt point - it's a softer, greasier wax, kind of like the Ecosoya CB 120... Main difference is the resistance to frosting. It also has a little something that makes it pull away from containers which REDUCES wet spots. (Notice I didn't say they're gone entirely.) But you can put jars in the fridge to make it pull away completely, thus possibly eliminating them. I like it becuase of the reduction in frosting. I'll deal with a wet spot any day if I can say goodbye to the white stuff.

I bought some, but I was warned by my supplier that it behaved nicer but didn't have as nice of a scent throw as the 135. After trying it I have to say I agree. Plus I still got wet spots and frosting. I think I will stay with the 135.

After testing the Advanced CB, I agree with JR. The scent throw was not as good as the wax I already use, plus there was still frosting. As far as wet spots, I figure they are just the "nature of the beast" in candlemaking, so I do not fight them, but this wax did leave wetspots too.
