Votive/wick question

I made my first votives this past weekend.  I was extremely pleased with how they turned out. I used the KY All Natural votive and pillar wax, sugar cookie fo and no color and 36-24-24-Z wicks.

I'm burning them in a votive cup but they seem to be drowning when burned?  Cry Cry   Do I need to change the wick size?

Sounds like you either need to wick up or change wicks.  Zincs are cooler burning wicks, so you will have to wick up on those.  Some people use them, but they are not the overwhelming wick of choice for soy.  If you have HTP, CD or LX wicks, I would try one of those as well.

THanks, I do have some HTP's and I will try one of them.
