I have tried the Glue Dots that are the highest tack and low profile.  They didn't work well.  The wick wouldn't stay stuck everytime.  I don't know if these are the same.

I bought them at wal-mart. We'll see how they work. I'll post and let you know.

Also tried Glue Dots - twice, in fact...  These did not work well at all!

They broke contact with the containers even when I was just looping the wick over my centering stick...

If not then, they "released" when the hot wax was poured into the container...

Not worth it at all..!!!

I got them in the scrapbook section. On the box it saids, NEW ULTRA STRENGTH FORMULA, Clear adhesive Dots 3-D, 200 Value Pack, Acid Free, High-Tack, 1/2" Dia. 1/8" thick. I haven't tried them yet. They name on the box is Therm O Web. If they won't do the work I can take them back.

I stopped using glue dots because they never held the wick down well enough. I switched to using a glue gun and it is like a dream. I save myself so much time and trouble. I can even fix imperfections with a heat gun without the wick changing positions now.

I don't think I'll try an used them. I'll be returning them to Wal-mart. I think I'll give the glue gun a try.

Thanks for your thoughts. Wink
