Hey everyone, I was just taking a look at some votives I made recently and I noticed that I do not see the wick tab on the bottom. Are they supposed to show through on the bottom? I was just wondering because every votive I have ever purchased, I could see the wick tab peeking through the bottom. On mine, they don't show. On some you can very faintly see them but most you cannot. I just wondered what some thoughts were on this. I put the wick in when the wax is just starting to get cloudy so I'm not sure if maybe I'm waiting too long to put in the wick/tab. TIA!

Wick pins are really the best way to go...so yes, you will see the wick tab.  I heat mine tab with a lighter and just push it into the votive.  The heat melts it just a bit to adhere to the wax.
