I just started making soy tarts. My question is what type of burners do you use for these, electric or the kind that uses a tealight? Can you use the electric simmering pots used for potpouri? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

I prefer the electric ones but that is me. I feel if I'm going to burn something, I will burn a candle. When I use my tart burners, I want to smell my house up but don't want a flame going, lol. I sell ALOT of electric tart warmers at my store. People are really liking these instead of burning candles. I would probably always use the warmers if it wasn't for testing fo's (except maybe in the winter time, I do like burning candles just for the mood). I also offer tealight warmers and I think I've only sold a couple in 6 months. I'm not sure on the electric simmering pots. I think these may get too hot but someone else might know better on these. Have a great day! Deb

I sell alot of both electric and tealight burners. I think it would be of personal preferrence on which ones you would like to carry. And you can use both for tarts. And the simmers pots you would have to check the manufactures recommendations on that.

No you should never use the simmer pots....they get too hot for candle wax and could cause it to boil, spitting all over the place, or it could burst into flames!!
