HTP wick curling

May be a silly question, and I know wick curling has been covered before, but has anyone ever experimented by pre-curling an HTP wick before it's initial burn, so it could force the wick to curl that way all the time? TIA

I am not sure if you can do that with the HTP wicks. I do know that HTP wicks will bend in one direction naturally. If you look at the wick on both sides, one side appears to have an upward "V" and on the otherside is a downward "V". The wick will curl toward the side with the downward "V". I double wick all of my jars with the downward "V" to the outsides of the jar and the wicks just burn outward that way.
