I've never used vybar, but I think it needs to be melted independently, added to the melted wax, and then stirred forever. But I don't believe many people use it in soy. I'm sure someone with experience will come along to give you more and better information.

If you WANT to use vybar you would use Vybar 260 which has a meltpoint of ~ 130F so it'll melt ... BUT ... personally, I don't know why you would use Vybar with soy. Vybar when added to something that has a tendency to frost will make it frost more, and obviously soy has a tendency to frost. In my experimentation it will even make "advanced" soys have a tendency to frost more. Its mainly used in paraffin container (at least the 260 is) so its not a problem. I think if you were to search you may see a couple people adding it to the "parasoy" blends - and I don't think it has the frosting problem there that it has in plain soy. I assume you want to use it for a better throw? I don't know about regular soys, but with Ecosoya's CBAV which is what I tested it with, it didn't help with throw - but it did help it frost.

I agree with HenryK. All of my testing with vybar in soy has made the frosting problem worse. If you are trying to get a better throw, try some beeswax, it will also help with the frosting.

I've used it before with no more frosting problems than normal. But everyones experience is different. But I did notice that you can't use very much or it makes the soy set up looking like cauliflower -even after burning. It was really bad too. I only had this problem when I experimented with the vybar. I just added the vybar to my pot with all my wax and let it melt all together. Another thing to consider about using it is that it isn't a natural product so some folks don't like it for that aspect.
