I have used and E/O of Clove for my candles for years but Awhile ago my supplier whiched suppliers of this scent and I don't care for it. I need to order it from peaks and wondered how it smelled. Clove is a huge seller for me so I have to get it right.
Is Peaks Red Clove a good strong clove? and is a straight Clove. The reson why I discontinued with the other is that they added something to it.

I LOVE this FO, I THINK it's a straight Clove, I don't detect anything else in it, but then again my nose is basically submerged in it. I have been waiting to make a candle with it for myself (oh, maybe today).

It is a great scent, I do it by itself and also do orange clove , very big sellers for the fall and holiday.

Red Clove is one of my favorite Peaks's scent. Its a very strong clove scent.

It's much nicer OOB than clove bud EO. It's not straight, but it's predominant - there's a fullness to it that the EO doesn't have. But nothing overtly sweet/fruity.
