Recipe By     :
Serving Size  : 0     Preparation Time :0:00
Categories    : Other Bath Time Fun

Amount  Measure  Ingredient -- Preparation Method
--------  ------------  --------------------------------
     1/4      cup  aloe vera gel
     3/4      cup  water
  1      teaspoon  coloring
     1/4 teaspoon  fragrance oil

Mix ingredients together and put into jar. Use 2 Tablespoons per tub

I'm wondering what type of coloring I should use in thisHuh I think this is supposed to turn your bath water a different color. Also do you think they really mean aloe vera gel, or Aloe Vera Juice?

I imagine food coloring, that's what I'd do anyway.

Food Coloring... hurm... Here's a question on that. Will Food Coloring stain the tub? Or the person in it? I imagine that that small amount in the tub won't be a problem.

You know this might be good for skin that's been in the sun to long. I'll have to do some research on that.

roflmao. You know what this makes me think of, in Private Benjiman, when they put the Tint-X into Elieen Brennen's (sp?) shower head and tinted her blue... roflmao.

Rob this one is for you....thanks for reminding me of a nasty prank my sister played....I was visiting home from college and since the main bathroom was occupied my sis said i could use hers.....she said you have to try the new body wash I got the other day....i was thinking cool!!!  Well, I pour a ton into the body scrubby and it just wouldn't lather...i was like man this sucks!!!...then noticed it wouldn't wash off very well either......I was soooo red from the coloring of that stuff.....and then even redder from trying to scrub it off....it took 2 days for the stuff to "leave" the cracks of my skin...uuuggghhhh i was soooo mad.....

she thought it was hilarious she had taken some of the bathtub tinkture stuff and put it into a "bodywash" bottle....not sure who manufactured it...I believe it was MaryKay....part of the kids line they came up with

so memnoch...you should test it....and make sure no one uses it as "bodywash"

LMAO... you know it does...  I tested these today. Used Aloe Vera Gel *non colored non scented* Got it from walmart. Though it was CLEAR so I know something was done to it from plant to bottle. Used Food Coloring. And 1/4 teaspoon Nag Champa *body safe* Fragrance oil.

Got a whisk and wisked all Ingredients together. Doesn't smell very strong in the bottle but man does it smell good when added to a bath full of warm water.

The oil seperates a bit on the top. But if you shake well before use that should take care of that.

I'm going to try and test some with the water solulizer I got for oil. I'll let you know in a few days if any of the other ingredients seperate.

makes enough to fill on half pint canning gar.
