I know I already posted me but this was too cute.  My daughter fell asleep with our hairless puppy named Milo and it was so cute I took a picture.

The pictures of everyone are very nice. I will have to post as soon as I find one that's digital and worth seeing by anyone other that my mother.  Being 38, I am like a candle that's aged just enough to give maxium performance.   We fellas are behind on the pic postings and will have to catch up.  Just think, the wax we use has taken millions of years to produce(as a fossle fuel).  Our craft is acient too. All of us are babes in the woods. Loving every day. Grin

All right Carmen! It's nice ta meet ya! And would all of you quit whining about being old!? We are all young at heart, and loving candle making! I've decided that if I ended up getting a Presto Pot, I'd really miss the daily steam facial I get with the double boiler.... Happy pouring!

Carmen. You remind me of a girl I went to school with. Her name was Carmen, too. Are you Puerto Rican?

I have to say it has been a pleasure to see everyone's photos. It is great to be able to put a face on a name.

Last week Julie Renee had suggested a section of the board dedicated to sharing personal photos (thanks Julie Smiley). I thought it was a great idea, but I wanted to explore ways to implement it. Then a couple days later, this thread started. So I figured I'd wait and see how things went.

Anyway, if you all are interested in a permanent area for posting personal photos, I can set one up. Each person that wanted to could start a thread with their username in the subject. The good thing is that this message board allows you to remove your own posts if desired. So photos could be as permanent or temporary as you like.

Another use of such an area would be to enable custom avatars (ex. scrat). They have to be small though so as not to consume too much bandwidth. 80x80 pixels is a good target size. Anyway, you could post your avatar in your personal thread, and then link to it from your profile. The avatar could even be a cropped and sized version of your own photo.

I think I'll go set that up and whoever is interested may use it.

Cheers,
Alan Smiley

All you ladies worried about age, stop. Age is nothing more than a state of mind. And from what I've seen here, your all forever 20. (That was NOT ment to be an insult  Tongue) Your all wonderfully young at heart and I venture to guess when your blowing out (with the help of a fan) all 89 candles on your birthday cakes in the very far future, that your all still just as young as you are today.
