Ummm, if I knew you gonna be there, you'd think I'd go out? Silly woman.... dinner in a nice resturant in the city, a carriage ride through central park under a full moon..then a quick ride in a helicopter over the city skyline to see all the lights (which I might add resemble a zillion flickering candles)....a short walk along the beach... Yup a nice evening for sure.

Did someone say, "Bonfire " Man oh man, I love me some fire. When we went camping over Labor Day wknd, I took along 2 crappy cinnamon bun candles and we torched those in the fire. It was fun to watch them burn. They made nice firestarters. Speaking of firestarters, I took along the brown bag full of waxy papertowels from wiping my pots, and we used those to start the fire. They were excellent. Awesome. I loved it. Fire, fire, gimme fire!! Oh - and I love workshop pictures, although I've never shared mine, since I've no shop - just kitchen counters

Hey Rob--Where in NYC are you from? I use to go to New York alot--had a ton of relatives there. (All have since moved out, mostly to florida). I had relatives in Brooklyn, Queens, and the last place my Grandmother lived was on Staten Island. That was a great apt. because it was only a couple of miles from the ferry and very easy to get to the city. My fav place in NY is the South Street Seaport...very peaceful for being in the busies city in the US!! I really miss going to NYC--always something to do at any given moment. I live by Niagara falls and not to many spur of the moment things to do--ususally everything is planned and usually never have the energy to plan... Thanks for letting me go down memory lane

I'm from all over really, uptown, downtown, midtown... a short time from Queens. Never lived in Brooklyn or Staten Island though. Been through them all about a zillion times, but no living there. Also Long Island. Sigh. Lord I can't wait to move.
