Guy walks into a welfare office...
« on: Jul 8th, 2005, 3:25pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

A guy walks into the local welfare office, marches straight up to the counter and says, "Hi... You know, I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job.

The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is excellent.
We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a
chauffeur/bodyguard for his nymphomaniac daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your clothes, credit cards, money.

Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You will have to satisfy her sexual urges.

You'll have a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The starting salary is $200,000 a year".

The guy says, "You're bullshittin'me!"

The social worker says, "Yeah, well, you started it."

So i have to tell you I debated repying and will probably regrete it.

I fail to see any humor in this "joke". I know for everything there is an abuser including welfare. But for the person who might sincerely see that as a truthful last resort it is not funny.  I thought that we Americans pride ouselves in taking care of  I thought was fellow Americans, (apparently from what I see today it is not though it is anyone else).

No I have never been on welfare, Thank God.

If we as Americans have come to the point that we see this as a joke then I guess I realize why America is in the Sh*t it is in today.

Sorry, maybe will get thrown off the board but this really really bothered me and could not leave it alone. Maybe it is the area I live in, you can't buy a job here.
