That is just what my son's hair looked like, only very red.  I took him to the barber about once a month for 6 months before I got his hair cut (I have a friend who is a barber and didn't mind us sitting there watching)  When the day finally came, he sat up in the chair and let him cut it without a sound, like a man.  Silly me took pictures and everything.  Then the barber filled out a certificate of first haircut for him.  It was so sweet.  Good Luck.

Wax and a wick, what's so hard about that.

I try to keep my sons hair 2 to 2 1/2 inches long.  It doesn't tangle, but still has curl.  Any shorter than 2 inches and there is no curl, his curls are big like your sons.  Any longer than 2 1/2 and it just looks messy and big all the time.  Hope you find what is right for him.  He does have beautiful hair.

Well he did well, barley fussed, his hair is short but still has a perfect wave in it, I cant believe how much older he looks though.  Time for another one Smiley

I almost cried when it was time to cut my youngest's hair.  He had beautiful ringlets and everyone said it would never be like that again, but they were wrong cuz they grew back.  (Of course a boy who looks like Goldilocks is not a good thing!)  Shocked
