Are there any "newish" or " NICE oldish" Dallas Chandlers ( small potatos, not the big cahunas that already know everything and dont want to share  ) that would like to get together and help each other learn and grow by sharing what we know and learning new things? I was thinking about maybe having "get- togethers" at my school if there are people interested. I have classrooms, stages etc ( where we could bring in guest artists ) and enough electrical "plug ins" to melt enough wax to embed new York City! I was thinking that maybe we could have different sessions and learn different techniques each meeting. We could have them as frequent as we had interest for and could figure out how to share the expense of the supplies.I have not heard of a place in our area that does that and think it might be a great learning experience and fun.
It is just a thought. let me know Dallas Wax Addicts if anyone is interested.

Not a bad idea. If you don't get a lot of response you might ask around at the candle conference. I have kids and a hubby that works some evenings and weekends, so it would be hard for me.

My school is on Midway north of beltline ( 2 blocks north of the Addison Tunnel on Midway )
I just think it would be fun to get together a Chandler Group. The school is a good place to have it. LOTS of room LOTs of everything we would need. Tables..well just everything.
I will see how many are interested and make it happen!

I'm sort of familiar with the area. Would I take I-635 and exit Midway and go North or take the Tollway North? I'm just trying to get a better idea of where your at. My Aunt lives really close to Brookhaven College so I know where Midway is, the Addison Tunnel thing kind of threw me.

Yes you would go down 635 and take the midway exit. Go North, two blocks past Keller Springs and the school is on the left side of the road. Cant miss it.
( Keller Springs is the same street the Addison Tunnel is on )
I think if we can get like 5 or 6 people we should go forward with it ..
