Does this sound okay?

Okay, made the whipped shea butter and I love it.  Now I'm addicted and want to try a shea butter soap.  I understand how to use the mms calculator, but not the oils, they still confuse me a little.  How's this sound:
16 oz Shea butter
8 oz Olive oil
8 oz Coconut oil
4 oz sweel almond oil
4.9 oz lye
14 oz water

Is this okay, or what should I do to make a nice shea butter recipe?

If you go to the sooz calculator in plug in the percentages for the mms it will tell you what kind of bar you will have.

From what I have read, anything over 5% of a particular butter doesn't really buy you anything extra, so I would use 5% (maybe 7%) shea butter and up the olive.  No point in using a bunch of shea if it won't give you any more benefit.  Start with 5%, then make a 10% or 15% bar and compare the two.  If you don't feel a difference, stick with the lower percentage.

It's always easier to use percentages when you're trying to determine qualities.. The recipe you gave turns out:
Almond Oil, Sweet 11.11%
Coconut Oil   22.22%
Olive Oil   22.22%
Shea Butter   44.44%

from MMS, not quite 100%, since I like even numbers I'd probably round to 12%-22%-22%-44%
It will be very hard due to the 66% hard oils. There's a lot of stearic acid in shea, I think you might find that it's not very conditioning. There's a french bar that adverts that it has lots of shea, and it's only 20% - I don't think I'd go beyond that.

Coconut that high might be drying. There really isn't enough conditioning oils (like olive/almond) to offset the dryness.. If those were the only 4 oils I had, I might try a castille like bar with

almond 10%
shea 15%
coconut 15%
olive 60%

It would start out soft, but would eventually cure pretty hard. Olive is one of those oils that could be classed as soft or hard - it's soft at room temp, but it cures extemely hard given months.

But those are just guesses, the only way to really tell is to make it and see how your skin likes it.
