Texasbrat... It used to say I'm a lyer.. But I didn't like that...lol Too funny!! Candlemaker... Wonder what's going on here? I fill mine about 3/4 way full and they dissolve in about 5 minutes (unless I play with it...lol) Are you sure your citric is good? Let's troubleshoot!

K....Bunny, I have all the ingredients now, so tell me, what did you melt everything in? Can I use a presto pot (it's never been used)? Did you use the microwave? Do you melt the cocoa butter first to get your 8oz and then remelt again with all the ingredients? I have tart molds so I can pour in these right? Thanks for your help.

k' so i made these tonite, and i have a question after the cocoa butter is melted and the other ingredients is it supposed to be thick but not hard before you add the last item, or is it supposed to be really runny? does that make sense? oh and where do i store them, do that have to stay in the fridge?

| It might be hard to get them out of the tart molds, you may want to spray with Pam and wipe any excess. Personally, I make mine in a pouring pot that I only use for B&B. And the weighing thing - weigh out 8 ounces, dry or wet, it's still gonna be 8 ounces. | If it's really really runny, your temps were probably too high, and you probably lost a lot of the citric do to it reacting. Keep the temp as cool as possible for the prettiest melts ever! You don't have to store them in the fridge, just do this to get them to harden up quickly. I've had some for 11 months now (tossed them on the shelf in the bathroom for this purpose) and they still work well and look good too! HTH!

Hi there, newbie here.....I made some of these yesterday (with 1T cocoa powder). I used a mini-muffin pan as my mold and filled it to the brim. Each melt weighs approx 1.4 oz. Just wondering how many to throw in the tub for a nice effect? They look just like little chocolate truffles.....yummy! Thanks, peg

I just threw one in tonight with my daughters bath and it seemed like one was enough in a normal size tub. My sister is going to try some in her garden tub and tell me how many it takes.

I just concocted a half batch of these melts up, minus the cocoa powder, plopped one in the tub and am totally reborn! These sure are a fix for winter skin.

I finally made these, but I didn't get any fizz. I'm wondering if I may have added the citric acid in too soon. Would that make a difference?

I made a batch of these up last weekend, and scented them in, Peak, Jamaica Me Crazy, and they were to die for. Love this recipe and so easy! Thanks so much for sharing it. My question is, how do you package these to sell, and how many per package? Don't know if a person should use, cello or the zip lock bags for them.

Personally, I love the look of cello in with a foldover card stock top preprinted with the info you need. Also bath salt tubes can be cute if you can get them wide enough, but it would probably take a zillion to fill it up.

i didn't take the temp. but it was not too hot, it was still liquidy, but sort of thick. i hope that makes sense. i use muffin pan, but not the mini ones. i belive i may know why i have the sink holes. when i placed the pan in the freezer, it was sort of on a slant, not lying flat. so my melts has a gangsta lean w/ a sink hole . i will try again tomorrow b/c it is getting late in my neck of the woods. i will be trying the mini pan as the larger pan is just too big IMO. have you every sent these out in the mail? do you know how they will hold up in the mail?

Yeah, those regular muffins are going to be waaaay to big, gonna be a greaseball! I've shipped them during the summer, but just ship on Mondays as the summer heat increases to avoid them sitting in a hot truck for 2 extra days. Helps save warped candles too..lol

is there a certain temp to pour. i used dixie cups this time and got sink holes in all of them. i tried again, this batch is in the freezer now, checked after 10 mins and saw that holes were starting to form, patted the top with the rubber spatulas. will check on them again soon. should i be filling my mold to the rim.

Ok.. is it an actual sinkhole like in a candle, or is it little sinkholes all over the top.
