6 oz. Olive Oil
1.5 oz. Castor Oil
6 oz. Coconut Oil
5 oz. Palm Kernel Oil

That's cause the sooz wants it in percentages..  Here's one to figure out the lye in weights, like how your recipe is posted.
  www.thesage.com click on lye calculator...

Post your numbers, then I'll do it too!  Got to "learn" you how to do this!   Grin

My mistake, I had coconut oil fractions, instead of plain coconut oil. So does this look ok now?

Does look good with the 5.23...

But now we're gonna teach you the sooz...lol

go to www.soapcalc.com, and click on the original calculator.

Add each of your oils to the list, then the percentage listed next to it on thesage calculator..  Like, canola oil, you have it at 22.97% of your recipe.

Enter them all in like that, and you'll have a better idea on what kind of bar you have, and what you can sub out to make an even better bar.

Ok, I did all that and see the soap qualities of it all. Tells me hardness is 37% Cleansing 19% etc. Not sure if I am reading that right or not. At the bottom tells me, 6.08 oz water required and 2.27 oz lye per 100% of oils. Guess I should keep playing with it.

To change the amount that you need, look in the upper middle, you can change it to how many ever lbs, ozs, etc.  Looks like it's set at one lb..

Yes, it was. Now it tells me, 5.24 oz lye, 14.06 oz water. Is that correct? Not sure if this will make a good recipe or not.
