here are a few of my soaps that I have done in the past.  I have been so busy trying to master candles that haven't made as much soap as I would like.  The soaps are from left to right: Pearberry, Juniper Breeze, Cranberry Spice & Sierra Sunset.

Sorry about the large Pic, Alan.  Guess I don't know how to make it smaller.  Was going to post a few more but don't dare because of the size.

Gorgeous!! Love them. How do you do the swirly look. I'm thinking you just add color and slightly stir before pouring into molds, just not stirring it all the way into the mixture??

Thank you Satsuma.  I just take out about a cup of my soap when it is at thin trace (hoping that the fo doesn't start to accelerate) and color that portion for my swirl, add back to the pot in about two places, swish with the spoon, once and pour.  Gotta admit they don't always come out as nice as these did.

Wonderful swirls, multicolor even! You must be a whirlwind!

I'm finding swirling take lots and lots of practice Smiley I can't decide if I like doing it in the pot, or doing it in the log mold (pouring 1/3 base, then color, then base, then color....) I don't have a slab mold (yet) to get pretty swirls that way.

You know I never come over to this part of the message board and I really don't know why...I love looking at people's wonderful creations./// Your soaps look BETTER than store bought!! I tried making soap a few times and it never lathered right...I bought 20 lbs of it from Yaley and still have about 5 lbs around. I just never liked the way it lathered (or didn't  Undecided)
These are wonderful and I think I will be reading stuff more often over here..
GREAT JOB!

Thank you to both Candlemaker and Mary. Been doing soap a lot longer than candles and am a lot better at the soap.  Mary, if you would like to learn almost everything you ever wanted to know about soapmaking go to : http://millersoap.com  Great site with lots of good info and recipes.  I use a flat mold with dividers in it.
