If you have a good soap recipe, modifying it to include other ingredients is easy. Just use a lye calculator, such as the one on www.thesage.com . You just enter the amount of each oil you want to use, and it tells you how much water and lye to add.

Recipes I've seen in the past don't use much more than 10% hemp in them, mainly do to concerns of rancidity, since unrefined hemp has kind of a short shelf life.

Because hemp does have a short shelf life, I keep mine in the freezer (stays liquid). I usually add around 5% to my recipe and have never had the soap go rancid on me so far, but I do find that hemp tends to speed up trace just a tad.

i have used hemp oil in other stuff, like lip balm and stuff like that. just looking for a good soap recipe. not quite comfortable to go improvising on my own hehe 
hemp stuff is popular with the nice people who buy other stuff i make. and in the future i would like to have it all on my site together.

I make vegetable glycerin soap with hemp oil and basically you can adapt any recipe by replacing oil asked to use with hemp oil. I have found that might mean adjusting other amounts of oil or butter used in that recipe. I also use Refined Hemp seed oil which has an extended shelf life of 1 year; however, it is double the cost. For us, it is worth it, since every product we make, that is the main ingredient.
