..I read it is good for acne as it has anti-inflamitory and anti-bacterial qualities..
What can I mix with this to make(with few ingredients)..a facial cleanser and a moisturizer? or can I just use it pure for the moisturizer?

Yes, it works on itchy bug bites.

You can mix any other oils/butters with it to make a nice moisturizer, as well as use it straight.

I don't think anything can make this itching go away.. and it would probably take to long to arrive even if I ordered some today  Undecided

SatinDucky -- how about making a bug be gone spray?  Got any lemon eucalyptus EO?

As for the existing bites, try anything that is calming for the skin -- lavender EO, calendula, castor, arnica . . .

Where do you get the Pure Emu ?

It may sound crazy but I think that the Blue Emu ( 7% ) that I have been buying really helps with ACHES and Arthritus. I would love to be able to make it myself because it cost $29.00 a jar there and even more at the regular places. If I am not mistaken, the EMU is the ingredient that is suppose to be the "magic".

Thanks,
Michael

I think most of the soaping suppliers carry emu oil.  If you are used to paying that much for "blue emu" sticker shock shouldn't be a problem for the "pure" stuff.

Wax and a wick, what's so hard about that.
