Soap newbie coming forward

I'm going to try my hand at M&P today. (Starting out slow & basic) Do I need a stick blender for M&P or is that only necessary for when you are mixing your own oils & butters. I'll be adding color and FO but not sure if I need the stick blender or if a wisk would do the trick. Here I haven't even made my first batch of M&P and I'm already dying to order a slab mold, oils, butters, mica's. Sheesh, Im going to have to get a full time job to support this new addiction.  Tongue
Thanks for any ideas on the blender  Smiley

That I know of you don't need a stick blender for melt and pour. I have always stirred it with a popsicle stick when adding my fragrance and coloring.  You won't be making m&p for long, the cp bug will get ya.  Wink

Have fun

Now you don't need a stick blender for MP soap.  Just for cp soap.  All you will need to do is once your base is completely melted carefully add your dye and fragrances.  Stir completely and pour into molds.

I place my mold in the freezer for 15 minutes to get enough shrickage to pop them out.

Good luck!!

You shouldn't have to wait long...even when I don't use the fridge or freezer to hurry things along, mine are completely set up within an hour  Smiley Do we get to see pics?
