In Pamperme's recipe for milk bath am I to assume correctly that "powdered milk" is the same as instant dry milk you buy in the baking section of the store next to the canned milk? tia

I think the cheapest I've found it is at Walmart (Super Store)- their brand- GV 4lb approx $8.  My mom (thank God for mom's even at age 36 Grin) got me 10 lbs of buttermilk powder for 1.62 lb what a GREAT price Shocked near where she lives along w/ a ton of other B&B ingredients.   Will be using buttermilk powder more than the plain powdered milk.  Smiley
