Making M&P Scrubby Soap.

I'm still very new to the B&B scene. I mostly make stuff when I've got free time to give to friends and family.

I've been playing the M&P Soap. A friend of mine asked if I could make her some "Scrubby Soap"

I was wondering what kind of things I could add to M&P to make it "Scrubby"

I've heard of adding pumice to foot scrubbs and the like, would this work for M&P?

What about oatmeal. Do you guys think it would all sink to the bottom?

Pretty new to soap myself, but read about this base for exfoliating soaps. HTH

Look under "suspending base".  Smiley

Pumice is good I also use apricot kernels, cornmeal, poppy seeds, if it is for the body ground oatmeal is good, you don't want it too scratchy.  I would actually the grind the oatmeal for a foot soap too,  my favorite combo for foot soaps is definetly pumice and apricot kernel seeds.

Kewl thanks, and now I know not to just put it in the regular M&P. It sinks to the bottom... LOL

you can put your scrubbies into regular base.  you just need to wait until the base has cooled enough to start thickening and then you need to stir to keep everything floating and the you do a very cool pour.
